Ethnic costumes of Xiangxi showcased at Chuxiong Fashion Week

Recently, the first China Chuxiong Fashion Week was held in Chuxiong Yi Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province. Xiangxi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture was invited to participate in the special ethnic clothing show. During the runway show, 30 sets of Tujia and Miao ethnic costumes from Xiangxi Biguo Ethnic Clothing Development Center were displayed. The models made a stunning appearance dressed in beautiful, fashionable and ethnic costumes, presenting the development of the cultural tourism industry of Xiangxi Prefecture and the enormous potential of intangible cultural heritage innovation. During the event, Xiangxi Prefecture was given a special travel card that provides residents of Xiangxi Prefecture with a 20% discount on admission tickets to 8 A-level tourist attractions in Chuxiong in 2024 with their valid ID cards. The publicity department of Xiangxi Prefecture and Biguo Ethnic Clothing Development Center won the contribution award in the activity.
